Lesson 2.2 Asking Questions
Aim: Today you will think of some questions that you would like to ask about the animals you are researching.
Be Inspired:
Mrs. Klein has collected some images for her A to Z of Animals project. Her next steps are to think of some questions for her project.
Check It Out:
Can you think of some questions for your project? Here are some ideas to get you started:
1. What does the animal eat?
2. What type of habitat does the animal live in?
3. How long does the animal life for (life expectancy)?
4. Are there any fun facts about the animal?
Once you have thought about your questions, you can start to look for answers. You can use Kiddle, National Geographic for Kids and the San Diego Zoo website to help you.
Do Your Best:
Go to your Office 365 account and open your project from last week.
Add your questions to your presentation. To save you time you can copy and paste the questions onto each page. Try to add questions for pages A to F.
You can then begin your searches to see if you can find the answers to your questions.
Key Question:
How can you keep a record of your favourite research websites?
Extension Task: For those of you who like a challenge, you can keep adding more animals!
Fun:
The PBS website has lots of fun animal games for you to enjoy!
