Lesson 2.1 An A to Z of Animals
Aim: Today you will begin to work on a research project about animals. You will use key words to search for information online and you will present your findings using Microsoft Powerpoint.
Be Inspired:
Mrs. Klein has started work on her A to Z of Animals project. She is using one of the apps in her Office 365 account to present her work it is called Microsoft Powerpoint.
Check It Out: Today Mrs. Klein wants to collect some images to show what her animals look like. She is going to use a safe visual search engine called Kiddle to help her.
Do Your Best:
Open your Office 365 account and look for the app Microsoft Powerpoint. Click on a new blank presentation and add a title.
You can then start to add the names of your first six animals and copy and paste images of the animals to show what they look like (A to F).
Key Question:
How would you feel if someone took one of your photos and used it in a research project without your permission?
Extension Task: For those of you who like a challenge, you can keep adding more animals!
