Lesson 1.5 Computer Art or Paper Art
Aim:
To compare painting a picture on a computer with painting a picture on paper.
Be Inspired:
Can you think about the different ways you can create art? Watch the video below and tell me whether the art was done using a computer or on paper with paints/pencils. Can you think of any other ways we can create art?
Check It Out:
Today you are going to create two pictures. You will use paper and a pencil to create your first picture and then a computer to create the next picture.
Do Your Best:
As you paint/draw think about the two methods of painting and talk about the differences and which method you prefer best.
Extension Task:
Ready for a challenge? Take a walk around the school. Can you identify whether the art on display was created digitally or with a pencil and paper.
Finally:
Pictures can be made in lots of different ways, you can make art digitally using a computer and you can use real-life paints and paper. ● What are the differences between painting using a computer and painting on paper?
