To use the shape and line tools effectively.
To create art in the style of Piet Mondrian.
Be Inspired:
Have a look at this painting by Piet Mondrian. This type of painting is called an abstract painting. It has no subject and is made up of shapes, lines and colours.
Piet Mondrian also liked to listen to music. This piece of art was based on a song called Broadway Boogie Woogie.
Check It Out:
Today you are going to create a painting in the style of Piet Mondrian. First you will need to draw a square and then divide it into smaller shapes using straight lines.
Mondrian also used primary colours: red, yellow, and blue. You can use the fill paint tool to do this.
If you make a mistake you can use the undo tool.
