Lesson 6.1 Identify & Develop Your Topic
Aim:
Today you will need to identify your topic and think of at least one key question that you would like to base your research on.Be Informed:
How are you going to structure your project? Here is a template to give you some ideas. How will you present your project? Mrs. Klein used Sway to create her project. This is one of the applications available in your Office 365 accounts.

Start to collect information on your topic and collate the information using your chosen application.
It is OK to cut and paste information as long as you include a citation and as long as you are using the information for a purpose. Nobody wants to commit plagiarism.
Mrs. Klein's top tip is to make a note of the weblinks as you go along as this will help keep you organised.
A Word Cloud is a good way of starting to identify the key words.
Do:
Based on your research start to think about what kind of questions you might like to ask and who you would like to answer them. For example is your research focused on Year 6 students or are you interested in finding out what parents think?
