Aim: Today you are going to follow instructions and dance like a robot.
Be Inspired: Watch how the robot dances! Can you dance like a robot?
Check It Out: Get into pairs and have a go at commanding your human "robot" to move! What instructions can you use? Here are some you might like to try:

Do Your Best: Once you have finished programming your human robot. You might like to have a go at designing your very own robot and imagining what your robot will do.
Extension Task: For those of you wanting an extra challenge. Here is a game called Robot Addition:

Dear Students,
Today I would like you to think about robots. What is a robot? How do we control robots? How do we use robots?
You might like to draw a picture of a robot or have a go at building a cardboard robot. What would you like your robot to do? How will your robot work?

If you have a Botley robot you can unpack it and ask a grown-up to help you put in the batteries. Explore your robot and see how it works. Please look after your Botley and all the little pieces as it will need to be returned to school.
Here is Mrs. Klein's robot. He is called the Tin Pirate. My robot is powered by my mobile phone. The job that my robot does is cleaning my house.
You could also have a go at colouring in or building your own online robot.
