Lesson 1.4 Logging On & Logging Off
Aim:
To learn how to log-on and log-off from your laptop/computer. To know how to click on the shortcut icons to get to your favourite websites.
Be Inspired:
Make sure every student has a way of storing and accessing their user-name and password. Show students how to log-on to their device using their user-name and password.

Talk about what happens if they don't spell their name correctly. NB If an account doesn't log-on your teacher will need to contact the Helpdesk.
Check It Out:
Once students have logged on show them how to access their favourite websites. For example Mrs. Klein usually shows children the following:
1. Search for the web-browser Chrome
2. Type: The Klein Academy for ICT
3. Bookmark the website.
